2. What information we collect
- Name, phone number, email and postal address
- Property details and photos you share when requesting a quote
- Job notes, dates and payment records once we work for you
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) via standard server logs
3. How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide accurate quotes
- To deliver, schedule and invoice the services you book
- To keep records required by HMRC and our insurer
- To prevent fraud and spam (e.g. Cloudflare Turnstile verification)
4. Lawful basis
We process your data on the basis of (a) your consent when you submit a form, (b) the performance of a contract when you book work, and (c) our legitimate interest in running a small business and keeping required records.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with trusted providers that help us run the business - for example email hosting, accounting software and our website host. These providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own data-protection obligations.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept for up to 12 months. Customer records and invoices are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements, after which they are deleted.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict our use of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Email steelcitycleaning.stc@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
8. Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies needed for the pages to function and for spam protection. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
