Block Paving Re-Sand & Re-Grout in Sheffield

Lock the joints, stop the weeds and finish your driveway properly with a professional re-sand or re-grout.

Block Paving Re-Sand & Re-Grout in Sheffield

After a jet wash, block-paved driveways and patios always need their joints refilled. Without it, blocks shift, weeds return faster, and water tracks under the surface. We use kiln-dried jointing sand brushed and vibrated deep into every joint for a long-lasting finish.

For a more permanent solution we offer polymeric jointing compound, a resin-based grout that hardens in the joint to lock blocks in place, repel water and stop weed growth for years rather than months.

Both options pair perfectly with our jet washing service so the whole job, clean, re-sand or re-grout, and optional seal, gets done in one visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between kiln sand and polymeric?

Kiln-dried sand is the standard, cheaper finish and needs topping up every couple of years. Polymeric grout sets hard, lasts much longer and significantly reduces weeds.

Does the driveway need to be dry?

Yes, for sand it needs to be bone dry to brush in properly. Polymeric needs a specific moisture window which we manage on the day.

Will it stop weeds completely?

Polymeric grout almost eliminates weed growth in the joints. Kiln sand reduces it but doesn't fully prevent airborne seeds settling on top.

Can you re-grout an old driveway without jet washing first?

It's possible, but results are far better when the joints are properly cleaned out first. We'll always recommend washing as part of the same job.
